Leeds overcame the loss of several key players to beat Salford 12-10 in their challenge match in Jacksonville. The Super League champions went into the game with just 16 players after Keith Senior, Lee Smith, Danny McGuire and Kevin Sinfield dropped out late on. Jamie Peacock, Matt Diskin and Danny Buderus also sat out the match. Tries from Rob Parker and Willie Talau put the Reds 10-0 up before Dane Manning, Ryan Hall and Ashley Gibson touched down for the Rhinos.
