Widnes Vikings have continued their summer rebuilding with the capture of Featherstone Rovers' Loz Wildbore. The 24-year-old full-back has signed a two-year contract with Vikings. Wildbore was a popular figure at Featherstone, winning first-team player and players' player of the year at their end-of-season awards. "Widnes has recruited well and is a club that is really going places and I'm excited about being part of the future," said Wildbore. Vikings head coach Steve McCormack added: "Loz had an outstanding season in 2008 and is an exciting talent. "I hope he furthers his career at Widnes and fulfils his ambition to play Super League with us. "We beat off competition from a Super League club to clinch his signature and that speaks volumes for the current set up at Widnes." Wildbore is the sixth new arrival at the Stobart Stadium since the end of last season, following the signings of Toa Kohe Love, Lee Doran, Ben Kavanagh, Sam Thompson and James Webster.
