York City Knights will make changes to their side for the first time in three games for Saturday's National League Two trip to London Skolars. David March's injury has meant a change at loose forward, and coach Paul March told BBC Radio York there is also a doubt over Mark Applegarth. "He's found out he's got a blood clot behind one of his ears and we're going to assess him and see how he goes. "If he doesn't play Scott Woodcock's ready to come in." Player-boss March said he has a number of options available to cover his brother's absence at loose forward. | If we can put three front rowers out there and set our stall out from minute one, I'm sure we can come out with a victory York City Knights coach Paul March |
"Steve Lewis is looking to get himself back in to the team. He was a bit unlucky that he hasn't played the last couple of games because the team was going so well after he got injured. "He'll come back in to the side and Steve Grundy will probably move to loose forward. "If not we'll probably end up playing Dave Buckley there and playing with an extra front-rower on the field." When the two sides last met a month ago the game ended 20-20 and March feels the Knights have a point to prove this time. "We know this weekend it's going to be physical down there. They've got a big set and they came and basically bullied us the last time they played us. "So if we can put three front rowers out there and set our stall out from minute one, I'm sure we can come out with a victory."
