Mick Cassidy was voted into Wigan's 'Team of the Decade' |
Barrow Raiders coach Dave Clark has highlighted the impact of former Wigan legend Mick Cassidy after the 28-6 win against York on Easter Monday. The second-row forward made his home debut in the match and Clark believes the 34-year-old's experience will be vital to the club this season.
"I know he was pretty rubbed up before the game and we'll learn and work off him," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"He came on, changed the game for us in the middle and he runs that ball hard."

Monday's victory makes it two wins from two and Clark was delighted to maintain their unbeaten record.
"The momentum was carried on from Friday's win at Workington," he said.
"We had some good width and shape and scored some tries from out there too."
