Barrow took all three points from their Northern Rail Cup Group Six fixture with Blackpool after a 28-20 win at Craven Park on Sunday. Raiders scored five tries, including a debut score for Kiwi Matt Ashe, who also kicked two goals for his new club.
It was not all plain sailing, Blackpool responding with three tries of their own but Barrow held on for the victory.
The win leaves Barrow a point behind Widnes in third, who gained a bonus point despite a 15-8 loss to Leigh.
