Celtic Crusaders kept up their 100% home record to outclass Keighley Cougars at the Old Parish, Maesteg. The last game between the two sides was an even 30-30 draw but there was nothing even this time as the Crusaders ran in 11 tries with the Cougars having to wait until the 58th minute to get any points on the board.
Crusaders took the lead after four minutes when Paul Morgan laid off an excellent pass to Matt Jobson, who ran in to score - then repeated the move for an almost identical try to his first on 18 minutes.
Morgan was the provider again straight from kick-off with Van Dijk easily running in under the sticks.
Morgan ran in for Crusaders' fourth try four minutes later after another classic move.
Ryan Barton forced his way over for a fifth try less than two minutes later, but it took almost 10 minutes for the next try to be registered as Van Dijk nicely laid the ball off to Duggan who placed it under the sticks.
Barton forced his way over in the corner after a minute of the second half to increase the Crusaders' lead.
Quinn finished off another classic Crusaders move by grounding in the corner on 46 minutes.
Duggan ran half the length of the pitch to ground in the corner, before Keighley finally got on the board on 58 minutes after James Feather was set up by Welsh international Barry Eaton.
Jobson responded by running 30m for his hat-trick to bring up the 50 mark for the Crusaders.
Following a lengthy delay due to injury to Richard Knight, Keighley got a try back through Luke Sutton.
But the Crusaders weren't disheartened as they scored again - Van Dijk's grubber pounced on by Paul Morgan.
However, the Cougars completed the scoring in the final move of the game as James Feather ran in for his second of the game with Eaton kicking successfully just before the hooter.
"We've been turning things around until this," said Keighley coach Peter Roe.
"We've had some good performances recently but today we were absolutely hammered from 1-17.
"You've got to ask yourself some questions - the team have been put up in one of the best hotels in Wales all weekend, we've had team meetings, we've done video work on the opposition, we've prepared in an unbelieveable way.
"Personal preparation must have been poor as the coaches have done everything they can to prepare the players but they've let themselves down big style."
