Bridgend Blue Bulls consolidated their position at the top of the Welsh Conference with a 30-20 win over Cardiff Demons. The first half belonged to Kevin Ellis who claimed an outstanding hat-trick of tries.
The Demons fought back from a 20-2 half-time deficit with tries from Gareth Jones (2) and Gwion Bowen.
But scores from Dai Owen and Craig Fox were enough to keep the Bulls' 100% record in the league.
Torfaen Tigers demolished an understrength Cynon Valley Cougars 92-12, with Matthew Entwhistle scoring a try and eight goals.
The Tigers posted 46 points in each half, with Lee Taylor and man-of-the-match Damian Hudd leading the way with hat-tricks.
Although swamped, the visitors had the satisfaction of Gareth Marks scoring three touchdowns, while Adrian Owen also caught the eye.
Aberavon's match with Swansea Valley Miners at Talbot Athletic Ground was postponed as a mark of respect to youth player Scott McCrory, who died on Thursday of a suspected virus.
A minute's silence was held before the other two Welsh conference matches for the 16-year-old, who has represented Wales in both rugby codes at schoolboy level.
