| |  Sunday, 25 March, 2001, 14:16 GMT 15:16 UK Bradman memorial service  Famous faces gathered to remember Don Bradman including Australian Prime Minister John Howard.  West Indies cricket legend Sir Viv Richards attended the service.  The service was broadcast live to crowds who gathered at the Adelaide Oval.  Another West Indian cricketer, Everton Weekes was present at the service.  Sir Donald's granddaughter Greta Bradman paid tribute to her grandfather.  Sam Loxon, one of the Invincibles from Australia's 1948 side was also present.  The scoreboard at the Adelaide Oval read : "Farewell Sir Donald Bradman Rest In Peace". | |
