Torquay's Katie Eden second in British U-14 Slalom

Eden is hoping to make it all the way to the Winter Olympics

Torquay skier Katie Eden has finished second in the Under-14 British Indoor Slalom Championships in Manchester.

The 14-year-old, who trains with Torquay Alpine Ski Club, had a combined time of 30.31 seconds over two runs at the Snowdrome.

The Under-14 age-group was won by Florence Bell in 29.23 seconds.

Fellow Torquay skier Cameron Thomas, managed to finish in seventh place in the Under-14 boys event, in a time of 32.05 seconds.
