Golder and Crowell are hoping to break into the top 10 in Britain |
Jersey bobsleigh duo Will Golder and Kevan Crowell are heading to Italy for the British Championships next week. The pair, who finished as the top civilian crew in the traditionally forces-dominated sport last season, hope to improve on their 12th position. They have been weight training and sprinting for the past eight months under the guidance of former Olympic bobsleigher Colin Campbell. The event begins in Cesana on Monday, 10 November and ends five days later. They are hoping to break into the top 10 against teams already selected to represent Britain in Europa and World Cup Events.
