Allen Iverson struck late as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Indiana Pacers 106-104 in overtime.
Iverson, second in the league's scoring standings, did not have a good game, going 5-for-23 from the floor and finishing with just 15 points.
But he hit a 14-footer right on the buzzer to give Philadelphia their second consecutive overtime win.
Kyle Korver put away 23 points for the 76ers while Marc Jackson added 21.
Indiana's Jermaine O'Neal was the game's highest scorer with 39 but still ended up on the losing side.
Manu Ginobli scored 29 points to guide the San Antonio Spurs to 93-84 win over Miami.
Miami, who began the season with four straight wins, have now lost two on the bounce.
Ginobli, who led Argentina to gold at the Athens Olympics, was supported by French point guard Tony Parker, who added 18 points.
Shaquille O'Neal led the Heat - who were without leading scorer Dwayne Wade - with 21 rebounds and 23 points but had just six in the opening half.
In Orlando, Steve Francis scored 32 points and Grant Hill added 27 as the Magic fought back to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 122-113.
Kobe Bryant finished with a season-high 41 points as the Lakers led 37-21 after the first quarter.
But the Magic pulled together to rescue the game, with four players scoring more than 20 points.
