Clippers end Pacers' unbeaten run

Indiana's unbeaten record start to the season was ended in dramatic fashion as the LA Clippers inflicted a 102-68 defeat - the Pacers' worst ever home loss.

Elton Brand had 19 points and 16 rebounds against the the lethargic Pacers, who were without forward Ron Artest for disciplinary reasons.

Phoenix's dreams of their first five-win start to the season in 20 years were crushed by Cleveland.

LeBron James inflicted 38 points as the Indians recorded a 114-109 overtime victory.

And Utah also suffered their first defeat of the season, Chris Bosh scoring 20 points as Toronto Raptors won 104-95.

Miami Heat enjoyed a night off as the only team still with a zero in the loss column.

In Philadelphia the 76ers secured a breath-taking 108-100 overtime win over New Jersey.

Allen Iverson hit the tying shot with 7.2 seconds left in regulation time and Corliss Williamson scored seven of his 15 points in the extra period.

Boston and Portland also required overtime to pick a winner, the Celtics finally coming out on top 90-88.

Paul Pierce, playing with a mouth guard following dental surgery after being hit with an elbow, make a 17-foot fall-away jump shot as time expired.

New signing Gary Payton scored 15 points for Boston, becoming the 29th player in NBA history to reach 20,000.

And in Washington, Larry Hughes and Antawn Jamison scored 26 points apiece as the Wizards gained their first home win of the year by 106-96 over Orlando.
