 Anthony's Orangemen are two wins from the national title |
Syracuse and Texas have joined Kansas and Marquette in the Final Four of US college basketball's NCAA Tournament. Carmelo Anthony had 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Syracuse Orangemen crushed the top-seeded Oklahoma Sooners 63-47 in Albany, New York.
Syracuse took a ten-point lead into the interval and then scored the first eight points of the second half to pull away for good.
Hakim Warrick added 13 points as the Orangemen shot an impressive 52% from the field.
De'Angelo Alexander had 14 points for Oklahoma.
In San Antonio, Texas became the first top-ranked team to reach the Final Four stage in New Orleans.

TJ Ford had 19 points and 10 assists to lead the Longhorns past the Michigan State Spartans by 85-76.
Texas have not been to the Final Four since 1947, when the tournament only consisted of eight teams.
The Longhorns never trailed after leading 18-16 in the first half, and the Spartans never got closer than five points in the second.
Texas will play Syracuse, while Kansas take on Marquette for a place in the title game, which is scheduled for 7 April.
