Top-seeded Arizona survived a mighty scare to advance to the regional semi-finals of US college basketball's NCAA Tournament on Saturday. The Wildcats prevailed after two overtimes to book their place in the "Sweet 16" round.
But Gonzaga, a ninth seed with a rich history of tournament upsets, very nearly won the day.
The Bulldogs forced overtime on Tony Skinner's putback with a second on the clock.

And in the second spell of added time, they had two chances to win, with first Skinner missing from long range and then Blake Stepp from close in.
Arizona's western region rivals Kansas looked dangerous during their 104-76 demolition of Arizona State.
In Oklahoma City, East region favourites the Oklahoma Sooners had a much easier time, beating the eighth-seeded California Golden Bears 74-65.
Rookie Kevin Bookout and De'Angelo Alexander led the charge, scoring 37 points between them.
Briton Richard Midgley, California's match winner in the previous game, failed to score.
