What next for Wings?
Wings coach Scotty Bowman holds the Stanley Cup aloft in Detroit.
Bowman bowed out with his ninth Cup win
The Detroit Red Wings celebrated their Stanley Cup success with a parade through the streets of the 'Motor City' on Monday.

But the happiness of the thousands of fans who gathered to pay tribute to their team was tinged with concern about next season.

I've had great teams, but no team had the chemistry of this one

Coach Scotty Bowman is bowing out after claiming his ninth Stanley Cup while goaltender Dominik Hasek is also contemplating retirement.

"No more pressure guys, please," Hasek said with a broad smile when it was his turn to speak at the podium.

"I'm going to enjoy the moment. There is no better thing than raising the Stanley Cup and I'm going to do it right now again."

The Cup completes Hasek's hardware collection which also features six Vezina trophies, two Hart trophies and an Olympic gold medal.

Bowman passed Montreal Canadiens coaching legend Toe Blake and joined basketball's Phil Jackson and Red Auerbach as the only coaches in major professional sports with nine championships.

Nicklas Lidstrom with the Conn Smythe Trophy.
Niklas Lindstrom laps up the applause
"I've had great teams, but no team had the chemistry of this one and it showed in how it played," Bowman said.

"A total of 10 players won the Cup for the third time here, and that's a great achievement."

Red Wings general manager Ken Holland will have other issues to address as well as finding a coach and possibly a goaltender.

Star centre Steve Yzerman faces major knee surgery while Chris Chelios and veteran Igor Larionov are the team's top unrestricted free agents.

Defenceman Fredrik Olausson has also told a Swedish newspaper that he is returning to Sweden.
