Cook won a gold medal at this year's Commonwealth Games |
Britain's Christopher Cook won bronze in the 50m breaststroke at the World Short-Course Championships in Shanghai. Cook clocked 27.17 seconds and was followed closely by team-mate James Gibson, who was fifth in 27.35secs.
Liam Tancock was also fifth in the 100m individual medley in 54.22secs, while Melanie Marshall was sixth in the 200m freestyle in one minute and 57.06secs.
Australia's Libby Lenton collected another two titles to take her tally for the meeting to five gold medals.
Lenton stormed to victory in the 100m butterfly and 50m freestyle inside 24 minutes in Shanghai.
Her success comes just two weeks after she won five gold medals and two silvers at the Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Lenton said: "It's just such a great result. I'm so happy with how I've been able to perform here.
"I didn't have many expectations coming into this event but not only have I won some of my events, I've also been able to swim some pretty good times."
The triple world champion was narrowly outside the world record in the 100m butterfly, but claimed the 50m freestyle in 23.97secs.
