David Carry beat Commonwealth champion Ross Davenport to win the British Championships 200m freestyle title. Carry, who won the 400m freestyle and 400m individual titles in Melbourne, sped away on the final length to defend his crown in one minute 48.83 seconds.
Davenport, who won the 100m freestyle on Friday, was second in 1:49.39 with Euan Dale (1:49.70) third in Sheffield.
Terri Dunning won the 200m individual medley in 2:16.09 with Fran Halsall, 15, next in an age group best 2:16.72.
Carry was both relieved and delighted to have beaten his rival Davenport.
"I'm delighted to win what was such a good race," he said.
"The most enjoyable part has been the very exciting races I've competed in. It is really encouraging for all of us to do well."
The event incorporates the trials for the European Championships starting in Budapest at the end of July.
