Commonwealth 400m freestyle champion David Carry edged out David Davies at the 2006 British Championships. The Scot won in a time of three minutes 50.65 seconds, just 0.07 seconds ahead of Welshman Davies, who claimed the 1500m gold in Melbourne last month.
Hannah Miley won the women's 400m individual medley in 4:46.55.
The British Championships, which are being held in Sheffield, also incorporate the trials for July's European Championships in Budapest.
