Bailey was distraught at missing September's World Open |
Former British champion Tania Bailey has made a strong comeback from injury, winning her first competitive match since July on Tuesday night. The 29-year-old beat Madeline Perry, 11-6, 11-8, 11-9 in the fourth round of the Premier League. Bailey, from Lincolnshire, said: "I am very encouraged by that win. "This has been a pretty horrible year for me. I've really missed playing and I'm just looking forward to getting back into it now." She will now be hoping to be available for next month's World Team Championships in Egypt.
