Desperques described his double century as "a nice achievement"

Two century breaks handed Martyn Desperques victory against Ian Platt in the Premier Division.

Desperques hit breaks of 105 and 122 in the match to take the win over Platt by two frames to one.

Despite Desperques' win, his team, La Villette Hotel Gremlins, were only able to draw 6-6 with Platt's team, Ex-Service Rat Pack.

The result leaves Desperques' team, Gremlins, second in the Premier Division standings.

Desperques told BBC Guernsey: "My main aim, as always, is to win the frames, but getting the century breaks was a nice achievement."
