Jersey snooker player David Brabiner is through to the quarter-finals of the European Snooker Championships Masters in Duffel, Belgium. Brabiner beat beat Noel Halfpenny of Northern Ireland in the last 16 at the Masters event. The Jersey player now faces Dutchman Rene Dikstra in the last eight for a place in the semi-finals. Brabiner finished the group stages top of Group C with three points, winning 11 frames and only losing five.
