Derby junior retains world title

Hannah Jones
Jones made it two wins in a row over her opponent

Derby schoolgirl Hannah Jones says a slight change in her cueing action helped her retain her World Ladies Junior Snooker Championship title.

The 12-year-old England international beat Joanne Davies 2-1 at the Cambridge Snooker Centre on Sunday - a repeat of last year's final.

"It was harder to keep it than to win it the first time," Jones admitted.

"I've looked at Ronnie O'Sullivan and slightly altered my action to what he does," said the world number 11.

"I've looked at lots of different pros and picked bits from them."
