Percy and Simpson won gold in the Star class in Beijing in 2008 |
Olympic champions Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson picked up another title when they won the Star European Championship crown in Kiel, Germany, on Saturday. The British duo were in only their second two-man keelboat event since clinching gold in Beijing in 2008. Percy and Simpson faced pairs from Brazil - who were ineligible for the European title - and Sweden. Brazil led at the end of the final day, with Sweden and Britain on equal points - but GB won the title on countback. | 606: DEBATE |
