 BMW Oracle Racing in action in the second leg |
American challenger BMW Oracle Racing won the second race of their Louis Vuitton Cup semi-final against Italy's Luna Rossa to level the match at 1-1. Luna Rossa opened up an early lead but Oracle Racing caught them on the fourth leg and went on to win by 13 seconds.
In the other best-of-nine semi-final, Team New Zealand beat Spain's Desafio Espanol by 40 seconds to go 2-0 up.
The two winners will face each other for the right to challenge America's Cup holders Alinghi at the end of June.
