TeamBath beat the Mavericks 54-46 in the Co-operative Superleague Grand Final - their third title success.
Victory over the defending champions saw TeamBath end their 2008/09 campaign with their 18 wins from 18 games.
TeamBath's head coach Jess Garland said: "We turned over lots of ball and we were clinical in attack.
"It wasn't pretty at times, but I was really pleased with the response from the players. They're a talented group and it's a pleasure to work with them."
"I've lots of respect for the Mavericks and real credit it to them for making us claw out a victory," she added.
Captain Pamela Cookey, who scored 26 from 28 attempts, was named player of the match at the Coventry Skydome.
Cookey backs decision to stay for final
Cookey, 26, decided to delay her departure to New Zealand to play in the ANZ league so she could take part in the final.
" I wouldn't have missed it for the world and I'm so thankful I had the chance to finish it here," she said.
"We had to fight all the way, but we came through it in the end."
"We won it in the first quarter. We really came out at the start and built up a lead. Everyone on the court did their bit today."
