Swindon Wildcats saw their play-off dreams go down at Guildford Flames. Wildcats took the lead in the second leg at Guildford through Jonas Hoog and the score was 2-2 at the end of the first period after a James Knight goal. But second-placed Flames soon took command, building on their first leg 6-2 lead and running out 9-3 winners, with Jozef Liska scoring a consolation. "It's one thing losing, but it's maybe the way we lost as well," said Wildcats player-coach Ryan Aldridge.
