Nottingham Panthers secure shoot-out win over Braehead

Nottingham Panthers recorded a second penalty shoot-out win in 24 hours with a 4-3 home success over Braehead Clan.

Sunday's match finished 3-3 after extra time with Rob Lachowicz, Jeff Heerema and Danny Meyers scoring for Panthers.

Jade Galbraith hit the crucial penalty to make it two wins in two days after Saturday's shoot-out win in Sheffield.

Panthers netminder Craig Kowalski saved from ex-Panther Ashley Tait after Billy Ryan, Rob Bellamy and David-Alexandre Beauregard had notched in normal time.
