Nottingham Panthers still confident - David Clarke

Nottingham Panthers forward David Clarke says the players owe their supporters some results following their festive losses to Sheffield.

Panthers, who have since beaten Dundee and Newcastle, lost twice to Sheffield and also at home to Braehead.

Clarke said: "We're feeling good after the big win in Newcastle - you can see the confidence is back.

"We owe the fans after the Sheffield games, but anyone who thinks we're out of it is not thinking it through."

Panthers now have three matches in three days - they host Belfast on Friday, entertain Cardiff on Saturday and travel to Hull on Sunday.

"The fans have been good to us over the holidays and we're aiming to pay them back over this weekend and beyond," added Clarke.
