Simon Lambert was on target for the Giants on Sunday

The Giants returned to winning ways at the Odyssey to bolster their bid for the Elite League title.

The league leaders slumped to three home defeats in five days over the Christmas period but have bounced back with Sunday's victory.

Mark Garside put the Giants ahead after 14 minutes with assists from Brett Hemingway and Mike Bayrack.

The points were sealed midway through the second period courtesy of a Simon Lambert strike.
