Belfast debutant Simon Lambert netted against his former club

Belfast Giants were beaten in overtime in this Elite League/Challenge Cup clash in Scotland on Saturday night.

Chris St Jacques put Edinburgh ahead but the Giants hit back through Craig Peacock and Josh Prudden.

Adam Taylor and Jacques Perreault made it 3-2 before Jon Gleed levelled and former Capitals forward Simon Lambert scored on his Giants debut.

St Jacques equalised with just 27 seconds left and Perreault netted the winner two minutes into overtime.
