Basingstoke Bison have signed Great Britain defenceman Carl Graham from local rivals Bracknell Bees. The 26-year-old spent two seasons in the Elite League with the Manchester Phoenix, as well as playing for the Slough Jets and Wightlink Raiders. Bison coach Steve Moria said: "Carl will add grit to our defence and is a player who wins his one-on-one battles. "He handles the puck well and is going to be able to make that first pass out of his own zone." Reading-born Graham added: "I am excited about joining Basingstoke and last year playing in Bracknell really improved my game. "Now I want to take that next step. I will still play my physical game, making the hits and moving players out of our goalie's face, and I can't see why we can't bring a trophy home this season."
