Spearing spent two seasons at Slough before joining Basingstoke last season

Slough Jets have completed the re-signing of forward Scott Spearing from Basingstoke Bison.

Spearing, whose one season at the Bison was curtailed by injury, returns to the Jets after scoring 34 goals for them between 2007 and 2009.

Head coach Pete Russell told the Jets' website: "He is a big strong player and has an edge to his game.

"He had a bad knee injury last season and is looking forward to proving his doubters wrong."
