British netminder Carl Ambler has signed a new contract with the Bracknell Bees for next season. The former Great Britain Under-20 player has also played for Chelmsford, Slough and Romford. Bees' head coach Gareth Cox said: "He is an exciting goalie who produces some unbelievable saves. "He has proved how reliable he is, but last year was in a position where he saw too many shots on a nightly basis. That is the area we need to improve." Cox continued: "I have been impressed with Carl's temperament off the ice and the superb relationship that he has with fellow goalie Adam Marashi. "They work hard together and constantly look out for each other and that is important for the spirit within the dressing room."
