Kindle made 31 appearances for the Vipers following his summer move |
Newcastle Vipers have parted company with defenceman Tyler Kindle after the player opted for a switch to the US-based Central Hockey League. Kindle, 31, decided to return to his native country after a disappointing start to life in the Elite League. "We signed Tyler on the basis that he was going to be our number one defenceman," said Vipers' head coach Rob Wilson. "Things didn't work out and I'd like to thank Tyler for his efforts." The Vipers are currently considering signing a short-term replacement for Kindle, who could be available ahead of this weekend's games. Kindle, who moved to the club in July, made 31 appearances for the Vipers, netting his first goal against Edinburgh in October.
