Bracknell Bees 7-3 Swindon Wildcats

Ice hockey

Bracknell ended their six-game losing streak in the English Premier League with victory over Swindon Wildcats.

The Bees were 2-0 up after the first period through goals from former Wildcat Shane Moore and Callum Best.

Bracknell extended their lead thanks to Claude Dumas and Greg Randall before Sam Bullas hit back for the Cats for a 4-1 half-time score.

A quick exchange of goals in the second half of the match saw the score move to 6-3 before the Bees added a seventh.

It was the third defeat in as many days for Swindon Wildcats having suffered twice at the hands of the Guildford Flames.

They were beaten 3-1 by the Flames on Friday night - and again went down 5-2 at home in Saturday's return.

The Bees move up one place in the table to eighth, swapping places with the Wildcats who drop to ninth.
