Russ Cowley netted in the 5-2 victory over Nottingham Panthers

Coventry Blaze enjoyed an excellent weekend, securing wins over Sheffield Steelers and Nottingham Panthers.

Greg Chambers, Danny Stewart, Jonathan Weaver and Luke Fulghum scored the goals in a 4-1 win over the Steelers at the Sheffield Arena on Saturday.

Dan Carlson then celebrated his 300th appearance for Coventry with two goals as they beat the Panthers at the third attempt this season, winning 5-2.

Adam Calder, Russ Cowley and Chambers were the other Blaze scorers on Sunday.
