Swindon Wildcats boosted their chances of qualifying for the play-offs with a 3-2 win at Wightlink Raiders on Sunday.

Jamie Hayes, Aaron Nell and Josef Kohout scored and Swindon's position in eighth place in the table was further cemented by a defeat for Telford.

The win made up for the loss to Milton Keynes Lightning on Saturday in an ill-tempered match featuring 83 penalties.

Swindon have a five-point advantage over Telford and could book their play-off place as early as next weekend.
