Coventry Blaze head coach Paul Thompson is hoping his side can rediscover their form as they look to close the 10-point gap on Elite League leaders Sheffield.

The holders suffered an overtime defeat by Steelers on Sunday but Thompson told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire he wants a positive response from his players.

"We have to play with the same mindset, play with the same energy and bring our old game back," Thompson said.

Coventry face Hull on Saturday then Manchester the following day.

Thompson added: "I am looking forward to Saturday and really looking forward to seeing us kick on."
