Malcolm McMillan scored but the Belfast Giants lost to Sheffield

Elite League leaders the Sheffield Steelers kept their title push on track with a 3-2 victory over the Belfast Giants on Tuesday night.

The Steelers scored first with a short-handed goal by Jeff Legue on 5.25 but the Giants equalised through Malcolm McMillan in the 25th minute.

Robert Dowd edged the visitors into the lead again but the Giants levelled once more through Paul Deniset.

Legue got the winning goal with 51.31 on the clock.
