Manchester Phoenix coach Tony Hand wants an instant response from his side following their 3-1 defeat by Elite League leaders Sheffield on Sunday.

Phoenix are next in action against Newcastle on Boxing Day.

And Hand said: "Sheffield are a very good side with a strong defence and lots of speed up front. We had our chances, but didn't make them count."

"They were determined to bounce back after their loss to Newcastle - now we have to do the same."
