Manchester Phoenix coach Tony Hand claimed his team were unlucky in the 5-3 home defeat to Cardiff Devils. Two late goals from Luke Fulghum failed to overturn the visitors' deserved lead after the home side went 3-0 down in Sunday's first two periods. Hand said: "The guys dug in and I thought we were a little unlucky not to get a point. "Both sides played hard with no quarter asked or given and both goalies were busy all night long." He added: "We knew this would be a tough game and that's how it turned out. "It was fast, physical and we dug ourselves something of a hole. It's always tough when you lose at home but we've bounced back before and we'll do it again."
