Bracknell Bees have parted company with Canadian forward Jeff Hutchins.

Toronto-born Hutchins, 30, was the Bees' star signing over the summer, but had failed to find the net on a regular basis, scoring just four goals.

The former Elite League star had been the target of criticism from supporters and a statement on the Bees' official website confirmed his departure.

"This decision has not been made lightly and we wish Jeff well for the future," it read.

Bracknell have struggled to make their mark on the Premier League in the early weeks of the season, particularly at home.

The Bees are without a goal on home ice in nearly 200 minutes of action.
