Sunday's league derby between Bracknell Bees and Slough Jets has been postponed after a mechanical failure at the rink. The fault means the ice pad at the John Nike Leisuresport Complex, home of the Bees, is out of action until Monday. Bracknell had been hoping to welcome Olympic cycling star Jamie Staff, cousin of Bees defenceman Danny House, to the game on 19 October. No date has been confirmed for the re-arranged fixture, although the Bees say all tickets will remain valid.
