Robert Dowd has had an impressive start to the season

Sheffield Steelers rookie forward Robert Dowd is aiming to score 20 goals this season.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a great start to his first season with the club, scoring six times in the 12 games he has played.

Dowd has told BBC Radio Sheffield he is thriving with the extra responsibility he has been given.

"Every chance I get I try and succeed. This is a great club and I'd like to hit the 20-goal mark," he said.
