Wheaton scored a hat-trick as Swindon thrashed Isle of Wight 8-2 |
Swindon forward Joel Petkoff picked up a facial injured during the Wildcats' 8-2 win over the Isle of Wight at the Link Centre on Sunday. In a bad-tempered game there were more than 200 penalty minutes, with Raiders' Gareth Endicott being dismissed for head-butting Shane Moore. John Wheaton led the Swindon attack, scoring a hat-trick. It was a mixed weekend for Wildcats, after losing 8-5 at the Isle of Wight on Saturday. Petkoff should be fit to return to the Swindon line up ahead of the visit of the Telford Tigers at the weekend.
