Swindon Wildcats enjoyed their best weekend of the new season with wins over Romford and Bracknell.

Inspired by the return of Joel Petkoff the Wildcats put in a solid performance to beat Romford 5-3 at the Link Centre on Saturday.

The Canadian forward was the star of the show scoring a hat-trick within the space of just 30 minutes.

Then on Sunday, John Wheaton scored his first goals of the campaign, netting twice in the 2-0 win at Bracknell.
