Salisbury boss Nick Holmes has called for a change in the rules to allow clubs to appeal decisions where players are sent off for two yellow cards.
It follows the dismissal of midfielder Andy Sandell against Altrincham for two bookings Holmes thought were harsh.
Holmes told BBC Radio Wiltshire: "There are certain things you can't have, they would be too time consuming.
"But when people get sent off for two yellows I do think there should be some chance to get off it."
Salisbury will also be without Jon Bass for Saturday's home game with second-placed Kettering after he was also sent off in the 3-1 midweek defeat.
