Peterborough Phantoms will begin their new English Premier League campaign this weekend with matches against Slough and Swindon. Lewis Buckman and Callum Fowler are injury doubts, but Joe Miller should feature despite a muscle strain. "It's a tough weekend coming up," director of ice hockey Jon Kynaston told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. "We're away to Slough on Saturday - who were last year's play-off champions - and then at home to Swindon." The trip to Slough will be a first competitive match in charge for new boss Colin Patterson. The experienced Canadian has already made a top-four finish his stated aim for the season. Phantoms finished fourth in the English Premier League last season and also won the EPL Knock-out cup.
