Sheffield Steelers are still waiting to hear if Cardiff Devils' Brad Voth will receive a ban for his challenge on Randy Dagenais.

The Elite League are reviewing the tape from Sunday's game at the Cardiff Bay Arena which the Steelers won 2-0.

Degenais told the club's website: "I didn't realise how lucky I was until the guys told me what had happened."

Devils head coach Gerad Adams has dismissed Steelers' claims that the incident warrants a ban.

Voth and Dagenais clashed in the last minute of the game in Wales, sparking a mass brawl on the ice.
