Coventry Blaze won the British Knockout Cup thanks to an 8-6 aggregate victory over Basingstoke Bison. Blaze trailed Bison 4-2 from the opening leg of the final and fell a further goal behind when Greg Chambers netted after 51 seconds at the Skydome.
Sylvain Cloutier and Dan Carlson gave Coventry the lead on the night only for Brad Cruikshank to level the scores.
But Danny Stewart, Adam Calder, Carlson and Curtis Huppe scored in the final period to seal a 6-2 second leg win.
Having already won the Elite League, Blaze could now complete a treble with victory in the play-offs which begin later this month.
